As Passover approaches and we prepare to enjoy the company of family and friends, we ask you to please consider renewing your commitment to the children and adults of AKIM Israel.

AKIM Israel provides services to more than 30,000 clients beginning with infancy, and has been a support network of hope for over 120,000 family members of these challenged individuals throughout Israel.  Due to your kind support, these individuals have an opportunity to learn special skills and developmental care…to be able to embrace life with dignity, self-worth, and to be a vital part of the mainstream of society.

Some samples of what your financial support may do:

·         Support AKIM Israel’s special needs programs for children for an entire year.  These include pre-school, kindergarten, after-school programs and teen social clubs for mentally challenged children.

• Enable a person with intellectual disabilities who was abandoned by his family to have a dignify life with Akim as his legal Guardian.

·         Support our summer camp experience during the summer school vacation; AKIM Israel organizes a camp for 2,000 mentally handicapped children and young adults every year.

·         Support the AKIM dental care programs for over 18,000  mentally impaired including implants and dental hygiene education from a staff of dedicated dentists and dental assistants. 

·         Sponsor AKIM therapeutic horseback riding project for children with special needs including the horse and equipment.
