Together, justly so
Miri Elyatim, mother of nine-year-old Rom. Rom loves music, songs and dancing. He learns in a special-education school.
“Sometimes I get tired from the bureaucracy and from the daily need to fight on behalf of my son Rom. Thank God we have AKIM.
When I approached AKIM’s legal department their professionals spoke to me as an equal and right away expressed their willingness to listen and use every means available to them under the law. Today I know that there are solutions for our children, despite their weaknesses. Even if a struggle does not end in success, I know there’s someone who fights for me, helps me retain my strength, someone who goes through everything together with me, justly”.
